Maple Leaf Noble Philip I European Cello

Inspired by the legendary violin that captivated hearts and created as an homage to the late Maple Leaf Strings Luthier, Philip Doan, the MLS513 Noble Philip is intended to honor his commitment to the Maple Leaf Strings family and the national musical community.

The best way to honor Philip's investment was to create a model in his honor, the Noble Philip. In the spirit of Philip's orchestral community generosity, this instrument will be a vehicle for advancing musical opportunities for orchestral players.

For each Noble Philip purchased, Maple Leaf Strings will donate 10% of proceeds towards a scholarship fund created to provide access to private music education for underserved musicians. We will carry Philip's legacy forward, one instrument and one student at a time. Music changes the trajectory of a student's life, and by supporting the Noble Philip, we provide another access point to music that would not exist otherwise.
