Yamaha Sustain Pedal

The FC3A is a rugged, piano-style foot pedal for sustain and other continuous controller functions. It differs from the FC4A and FC5 footswitches in that it can provide continuous values as opposed to on/off. The most common application for this pedal is as a half-damper for piano. Half-damper lets a piano be more expressive by allowing the player to partially sustain notes.
